After the success of the first cycle of the Nxtgen Cricket Championship spread across 3 seasons and one championship season, the next cycle of the championship commenced starting with Season 5. After a long journey in the league for Amazon Cricket Team they emerged victorious and clinched the Gold cup in season 5 of the Nxtgen Cricket Bash. Braveheart cricket club bagged the Silver cup while the Rising Spartans bagged the Bronze cup.

Abishek Poll was crowned as the MVP of season 5 while Kanishka won the red cap with most number of runs (183), Samrat won the blue cap with the highest number of wickets (17) and Rakesh won the black cap for most number of dismissals (8) in this season of the Nxtgen Cricket Bash.
